HOW TO REGISTER AS A CUSTOMER
Click on the "REGISTER" button on the top right side of the page.
You will be directed to a registration page to fill out a registration form.
HOW TO LOG IN AS A CUSTOMER
On the top right side of the page enter your user name and password and click on the "LOG IN" button.
After you click on the "LOG IN" button your login status will be displayed and you can begin shopping.
HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
At any time in the shopping process items available for purchase can be viewed by clicking on an item type in the menu on left side of the page.
In the list of items shown enter the quantity of each item that you would like to order. Some items, such as meats, may come prepackaged with predetermined package weights. In these instances you will not be able to type in an order quantity but will be able to select a predetermined package weight from a dropdown menu.
When you are finished shopping for items on any one page click on the "ADD TO BASKET" button on the bottom of the page. You will be directed to your basket contents. You can then click on the item type menu on the left side of the page to continue shopping.
Note: You must click on the "ADD TO BASKET" button on the bottom of the page for the quantities selected to be added to the basket. If you click on another item type in the item type menu before clicking on "ADD TO BASKET" your order quantities will not be added to your basket.
When you have finished making your selections click on the "CHECKOUT" button at the bottom of the page. If you have not already logged in you will be asked to log in before you can proceed to checkout.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER
Each market establishes how they would like to handle payments for orders.
Some markets require payment at time of purchase, some markets require payment at time of order using PayPal or a credit card, and some markets allow either payment at pick up or at time of order.
After you select your products to purchase you will proceed to checkout. During the checkout process you will be notified about your payment options and if more than one option is available you will be asked to select your preferred method of payment.
WHERE DO I PICK UP MY ORDER
When you view available products a box above the product list will show a link to "Additional Pick Up Information".
Click on this link to view the pick up location for your order.
Some markets have more than one pick up location. If your market has more than one pick up location you will be asked to select a pick up location during the checkout process.
WHEN DO I PICK UP MY ORDER
When you view available products a box above the product list will indicate the pick up date for your order. The box will also show a link to "Additional Pick Up Information".
Click on this link to view the order pick up time and any other information related to picking up your order.
If your market has more than one pick up location there may be a different pick up time for each pick up location. If your market has more than one pick up location you will be asked to select a pick up location during the checkout process. Your pick up time will correlate with the pick up location selected.
WHAT ARE SPLIT ITEMS
Split items are items available to the market in wholesale quantities only. However, the wholesale quantity can be "split" by a number of buyers. If exactly the entire wholesale quantity is ordered then each buyer will get the amount they ordered. If more or less than the exact wholesale quantity is ordered then the amount each buyer will actually get may be different than the amount the buyer ordered. When you hover on the order quantity box for a split item, shown with a green background, a popup will appear with the following information: Order Qty: Enter what portion of the total quantity you want to order + : Enter any additional amount you are willing to take. - : Enter any lesser amount you are willing to take.
Additional information about the split may also be shown.
Split status (Filled or Unfilled), split size, and amount remaining to fill the split.
Who is currently participating in the split and the quantity each participant has ordered. Note: By default the splits participant name is "Private." In order for the participant's actual name to appear the participant must set "Splits Privacy" to off in their "My Profile" page.
Because ordered split item quantities may not actually be delivered unless the entire wholesale quantity is sold, at the end of the order cycle the market manager will make a determination as to what quantity of the item ordered will actually be delivered and will notify the buyer.
