Feb 9 Update-- Non-fat Vanilla yogurt trial from Commonwealth Dairy

Veggie of the Month: Beets!

Don't forget to find WFFN on Facebook!!
Thanks to our friends at Commonwealth Dairy, and feedback from you buyers, we have a new product for you: non-fat Vanilla yogurt, perfect for parfaits! Please order it up and give Commonwealth feedback. If all goes well, it will be a regular product!

Thanks for all your support for the Veggie of the Month project. For this month ONLY, Westminster Organics is getting plump and sweet organic red beets from Blackwell Roots farm in Cabot, VT!

Unfortunately, our local farmers are out of beets. Tropical Storm can be blamed, but we also need to think about 1) if beets are a good veggie for Feb 2) and how to grow and store enough to serve our needs.
Thanks for being patient and working with us to create the local food system we envision!

There are still lots of onions, parsnips and potatoes!

If you are on Facebook, check us out! We hope that this social media will be a place for all of us to communicate and share what we are doing in relation to the WFFN.

Please contact Richard at (248) 904 8347 or [email protected].
