Radishes
Menu Group: Food
Section: Vegetables
Category: Radishes
Vendor: Rasmussen Farm
French Breakfast radishes without greens, not freshly picked but still crisp and tasty.. These were picked at their prime, while the ones still in the ground and ready to pick fresh with greens are past peak, tending to be hotter and less attractive

WINTER RADISHES - not yet full-sized, but as large as many summer radishes. We are thinning our winter storage radishes to make room for those remaining to grow to full size.

- Green Meat mini daikons: Green and white miniature daikons, described by Fedco as "Fine-grained, crisp and sweet" with a “distinct green-apple flavor.” Asians use it for salads, cooking and pickling. "

- Radish mix: now includes winter radishes, including Green Meat, Watermelon, and possibly Shinden Risoh Daikon or Round Black Spanish.

- Watermelon: (pictured): Greenish-white to pale pink outside, lovely darker pink inside. Fedco describes these as having "consistent sweet tender flesh," but we find them rather spicy.
