Vanilla Information

Vanilla Extract
All of Frechette's vanilla extract is double fold. What does that mean? It means that it is double strength, two times the normal amount of vanilla beans were used during the extracting process.
Most commercially made extract is single fold.
You can get away with using half as much of Frechettes vanilla in your recipes if you like but then again it's vanilla. You just cannot have too much.
Frechette's vanilla is made with grade A and B vanilla beans and distilled spirts.
It takes a full year to make this quality extract using a cold process in small batches. Patience is key with all things vanilla. All of their vanilla is made using FDA standards. Yes there are vanilla rules.

Shelby's Cakes has been busy baking for the market and will have: blueberry crisps, strawberry shortcakes, cinnamon rolls, poptarts, white bread, garlic bread, cheddar jalapeño bread, bagels, English muffins, and brioche burger buns
PeaVee's Delights will have Skywalker white cauliflower, a kale mix for fresh eating or stir-fries, Integro red cabbage, Early Jersey green cabbage, Tango celery, Red Ace and Cylindrical beets, a harvest from a new bed of lettuce mix and romaine lettuce, arugula, ridicchio heads, the last of the pearl onions, fresh French Rocambole garlic, Vincent’s Fresh sunflowers and more!
