Dahlia bulbs: Lovely blooms appear late in the summer. These are perennials if you dig up the bulbs in the fall, cellar them for the winter, and replant in late spring, or you can treat them as annuals. If you dig them up, you can divide them in spring or fall and will have more bulbs next year. Plant 18" apart.
