Treat your mom to a lovely little garden in a pot: Oregano, Viola, Parsley and Nasturtium (The nasturtium is not cold hardy, bring inside at night). Put the nasturtium leaves and flowers of this arrangement in salads and snip of the leaves of the oregano and parsley during meal prep. The variegated Oregano is happy as a clam in the container but could be eventually planted out in the perennial herb garden.
