The Farmington Farmers' Market seeks new vendors for the upcoming season and will be meeting later this month to review applications. The market would welcome more fruit & veggies, dairy, eggs, seafood, bread, and a wide variety of products. Any gardener, farmer, or producer of products grown or produced by their own efforts within the State of Maine is eligible to apply. Please see www.mainefarmersmarkets.org/market-managers/keeping-your-market-legal/farmers-market-reference-guide/ to learn what may be required to sell your products.
Markets are held May-October both Fridays, 10-1, next to the Better Living Center on Front Street and Saturdays, 9-noon, in front of the district courthouse on Main Street, in addition to the winter market November-April at 130 Quebec Street, Saturdays 10-1.

A long-time favorite at our home and with our dinner guests. Crusty free-form loaf. We start with a "sponge," similar to a sourdough starter, giving it a divine texture. Made with unbleached white flour, whole wheat bread flour, water, Greek olives, homegrown rosemary, yeast, and sea salt.
