Arugula with holes from flea beetles: We always prefer greens that have been pre-nibbled by insects to ones that were sprayed to keep them pristine looking. We wash our greens but never spray them, not even with sprays approve for certified organic growers.
Peppery arugula - tasty raw or cooked. High in vitamins, fiber, and flavor! It makes a great alternative to basil in pesto. You can freeze it in small containers or ice cube trays to defrost as needed throughout the year.
