Starting next week, prices for Carrabassett Coffee will increase by $1 per pound. they explain:
"As the global economy continues to experience price increases for green coffee beans, we are forced to increase our pricing effective September 1, 2025. We have, so far, only felt limited effects of the tariffs, but we anticipate a greater impact from tariffs as time passes....

Purple plums. Purple when fully ripe or over ripe. Best when still red/yellow - still sweet and less prone to softening as they are when over ripe. Sprayed only at pedal fall with a kaolin spray to discourage the plum curculio.
Most need a few days on your window sill to ripen fully, but are edible now if you like them more tangy.
