From our friends Amanda and her mom Melanie: Amanda is a seriously developmentally challenged young adult, and with her mom's help, tending the chickens and gathering eggs is her job! Melanie and Amanda have a small farm in Farmington, near Walmart. We have used eggs from their little farm for years and we appreciate supporting Amanda's special travel fund!

Extra large sized eggs! For when a "Large" egg isn't quite enough! Significantly larger than regular large eggs ...large eggs weigh 55-60 grams and extra large are 65 grams and up! Golden yolks just like regular large eggs.

Large eggs, different shades of brown, some white ...and the occasional green one! Our older layers are still giving us nice eggs and the new flock is now laying more actual large and nice large eggs, more large than mediums and smalls! They are all enjoying goodies: veggie scraps - coming from the House AND EXTRA greens and trimmings from cooking.

Medium sized eggs: Can be used for most baking projects. Just slightly smaller than regular large eggs ...three equal 2 generous large eggs for recipe planning. Golden yolks just like eggs from our older birds ...and the new girls will be laying larger eggs soon!

Classic Sweet Gherkins with a twist! Sweet and crunchy, made of West Indian Gherkin cucumbers! We call these cucumbers the "hedgehog" cukes! They are rock hard and spiny, not at all appetizing raw. BUT the recipe is a multi-day sugar cure followed by pickling, and the process penetrates and softens the cukes. The result is a crunchy sweet and tangy pickle that is surprisingly delectable!

Cleopatra's Cucumber Chips! A true tangy taste treat! Apparently Queen Cleopatra of Egypt credited including pickles in her diet with contributing to her health and legendary beauty! These beautiful slices are tangy and sweet, a real treat!
