Danbury Winter Market

Danbury Winter Market Newsletter

It's time to place your orders for our January 20th pickup farmers market. This month, we welcome Warner river Produce from Webster to our list of participating vendors. They offer mixed greens, kale, spinach and those root crops that round out our winter meals. Browsing their offerings you will also find items like dried beans and apples. While they do not grow these items, the product description states what farm produced the product. Some items they buy in bulk from nearby farms before they close for the season while some are from neighboring farms.
The addition of Warner River to our physical 1st Saturday market gives all of you access to ample winter produce. They have agreed to try our 3rd Saturday pickup market for January, and will continue if the demand is there.
From salads and bread to main meals, desserts and maple milk , which you should drink from an original mug made by Pleasant View Arts, you can totally find the fixings for a full meal at the Danbury Winter Market. With your bellies full and your feet warmed by wool socks made by Margaret Hoyle (pic below), we hope you are ready to handle what Mother Nature has in store for us.
