Be One With Your Garden
Working last week with the cooler days was pleasant and productive. On hotter days like this weekend the workflow slows me down. I look more like a scarecrow hanging in the garden than a working farmer.

Blossoms are on the potato and vine plants. The celery and broccoli are growing well. Our next crop of radishes should be available next week.

We picked off and cooked up some small peppers, hoping that the plants will put more energy into growing larger. It just does not seem right to have a 3 inch pepper on a six inch plant.

News update on the ground hog: we have not seen or found any new plant damage done by him/her. Maybe we have established an understanding that what is inside the fence is off limits. We hope.

The delivery boy to Thos. Moser's is off next Friday so delivery will be on Thursday.

This is the time to enjoy the fresh foods produced in Maine, we hope you source your foods local and eat well.
