Tick-Tock
We do not watch the clock, but we do pay attention to the dates. It's July and the number of days left to plant warm weather crops for fall harvest are ticking away.

We will plant sunflowers, another crop of carrots and beets soon, and maybe start some perennial plant seedlings. In August we will plant fall spinach, lettuce, kale and radishes. We have started cabbage and cauliflower for fall.

Speaking of carrots, we got our spring crop planted late, but I think we will be offering baby carrots next week. We have snap peas, beet greens, and beautiful red radishes available on the web-site.This is the last week for getting romaine lettuce, and the leaf lettuce has bolted.

We hope you are enjoying this holiday weekend.
