Greetings
We have updated the website with our fall offerings. Now that cooler weather is here cooking inside is a welcome change. Just think of cooking up delicious roasted squash, boiled onions, tomato sauces with fresh garlic, caramelized carrots, and baked potatoes. Yum, it is making me hungry as I write.

We have just received our order of organic compost, with plans to get some on the garden beds this fall. We have an order of straw coming to help mulch next year's crops, and we have purchased enough organic fertilizers for two years. We are set to grow next year!!

Planting our seed garlic will happen soon, the bed is ready, and with the full moon coming early we are right on track. 

We did get a small new bed of strawberries in, let's hope the spring weather treats them kindly, and that we can keep the birds and wildlife away from them.

We have been cleaning up the plant debri, pulling the pepper, tomato, vine plants, annual flowers and the outside broccoli. We hope to get the raspberry bed cleaned, composted and mulched for next year, along with a few other fall cleanup chores.

Seed shopping will be done in November, and we plan to add more bushes, grapes and trees. Bring on the catalogs! Overall the garden, and the farmer are in a good place to embrace the next few months of dormancy. We hope you will too.
