Some Wins and Losses
Blueberries are ripening, we picked the first batch on Saturday and they sure are tasty.

Cherry tomatoes are starting to ripen, it will not be long before we can offer them for sale.

The cucumbers are a near failure this year. I am tempted to just pull them out and save myself the aggravation of picking the striped cucumber beetle and squash bugs off them. On the other hand I can leave them as a trap crop and eliminate as many as possible.

Egg plants are blooming and growing well, as is our zucchini plant. We have baby zucchini's started but not sure how they will mature with the excess water they have been getting.

The Mokum carrots are ready to be harvested and a taste test confirms they are sweet and crunchy.

Raspberries are offered but picking will depend on the weather.

As I write this it is raining out and I wanted to check the cabbages to see if they would be ready this week. I will not melt in the rain but it is too early in the morning to get wet, so if you would like a cabbage please add a note when you order.

Have a good week and eat well.
