Forgetful seeking Forgiveness
In last week's news letter, I should have mentioned that we are on vacation this week. My apologies for that. Having a week off and hitting a good stretch of weather makes this week doubly enjoyable.

We will return to the normal schedule next week.

With all the rain we have lost our crop of blooming daisies, the petals all have brown tips, the yarrow has been beat down by the rain and the raspberries truly do not like wet weather as they ripen. We also lost our red russian kale and a couple crucifer plants due to wet feet.

Good news is the onions, garlic, green beans, zinnia plants and basil are all looking good. Early this spring I would not have thought the basil would look as lovely as it does. Tomatoes are turning color and the cherry tomatoes are ripening quickly now.

We hope you enjoy your week and seek out other local food to enjoy.
