Weekly Rain Right on Time
Writing that title will probably jinx the wonderful weekly rain we’ve been having, but wow—our garden plants are absolutely loving it, growing healthy, happy, and strong!
What’s Harvest-Ready This Week:
All the peas are officially in blossom, and we can’t wait to share snap peas with you this week. They are sweet plump treats not to be missed.
Crisp Romaine Lettuce: These heads have gorgeous, dark green, crunchy leaves. They are still perfectly forming, and we’re harvesting them now so you get them at peak deliciousness before they decide to bolt!
Radishes: Crunch into our vibrant Rover Red and classic French Breakfast varieties.
Scallions: Add a pop of color and flavor with our Feast and beautiful Deep Purple scallions.
Extras: We'll also have plenty of fresh garlic scapes and an abundance of aromatic herbs!
The Blue Netting Success!
We officially have the blueberry bed tucked in and covered with a "new-to-us" one-piece blue netting. Last year, a fellow grower in our farming email group was giving it away because their patch outgrew it, and it turns out it’s the absolute perfect size for ours! We love a good win for Recycle, Reuse, and Repair!
Last Monday, we gently evicted a raccoon from the premises. We are crossing our fingers that they were a family of one and enjoy their new home.
While the peonies have officially said goodbye for the season (we took the very last bouquets to Cooper's Farm Stand on Saturday!), the garden is ready to burst with color. For our tabletop bouquets, we’ll be featuring lovely stock annuals, while our large bouquets will showcase a gorgeous mix of vibrant perennials this week.

Please keep in mind that we’ve cut back on our vegetable production this year, so many of our items are limited! The quantities listed are our best estimates of what we expect to harvest. Mother Nature loves surprises, so sometimes we end up with a little more, and sometimes a little less than expected. We appreciate your understanding and support!.
