What's Happening
The cucumbers are officially done! We decided to save ourselves the daily hunt for a handful of remaining fruits and conserve water in the process.

This week, we are offering a special farm box at a twenty percent savings, featuring a selection of staple vegetables. You can find it listed under CSA Shares in our shop. Be sure to order early, as quantities are limited.

We are so grateful for our zinnia bed. Their bright, cheerful colors and classic round shape blend wonderfully into our mixed bouquets, and the bumblebees seem to love them just as much as we do—they often land on the blossoms while I'm trying to harvest them!

While the gladiolus are coming to an end, we are pleasantly surprised to see a few new flower shoots still popping up.

One exciting flower addition is the Roseberry Parfait celosia, with stems reaching impressive heights of six feet or more. We are also eagerly waiting for the Yellow Garden cosmos and Apricot Beauty foxgloves to bloom, and we might even get a few stems of Painted daisies from our spring planting.

Our grapes are ripening nicely and taste wonderfully sweet. We plan to make plenty of grape juice and, with a little luck, some jelly too. Since the clusters are ripening at different times, they should be available for the a couple of weeks.

Pear harvest is also underway, starting with our Stacyville tree, which yields smaller but delicious fruit. We have two more pear trees getting ready to harvest as well, though I will need to dig through our farm records to remember their variety names! Peaches will be ready to pick shortly.

That’s all the news from the farm this week. Thank you so much for your continued support—it truly allows us to keep doing what we love.
