Transitions at Monadnock Menus: Introducing a new coordinator and a new website
Monadnock Menus is in a time of transition, and in more ways than one.

A New Coordinator
We’re pleased to introduce Alex McCullough as our new Food Hub Manager. Alex is coming to us from Harlow Farm, where he worked as the lead Specialty Crop Grower and managed their commercial kitchen production and their winter CSA. Immersed in agriculture since his time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger, West Africa, and with a Master’s degree in Agroecology from University of Wisconsin–Madison, Alex has years of experience in both production farming and in behind-the-scenes agricultural support. We are excited to have him onboard as we build on the huge momentum that Monadnock Menus has generated over the past two years.

Alex is now training with Sara and Hannah and will start taking on parts of the Monadnock Menus coordination role as early as next week. Expect to begin receiving emails and calls from him as he starts handling your weekly orders!

Sara Lovitz, who, as coordinator, grew Monadnock Menus into the prominent regional food network it is today, is leaving us soon to move to northern Vermont with her family. We’re grateful for all she has done for the program since its inception. "I've enjoyed working with you all to grow Monadnock Menus the past couple years and have been inspired by the dedication and hard work that's been put in to produce and serve great local food in the area. I look forward to hearing about all the great things to come this year and beyond - it's an exciting time and I'm sad to go! If you wish to reach me personally, you can contact me at saralovitz@gmail.com and I will have the same phone number. Wishing you all the best." - Sara

A New Website
In other news, we are happy to announce Harvest to Market has launched a major overhaul of the Monadnock Menus website! You’ll notice a sleeker, friendlier interface and improved functionality. If you have questions or feedback, let us know.

Featured Buyers and Sellers
Let’s extend a warm welcome to the ConVal School District. We’re thrilled to have them ordering with Monadnock Menus and hope their kids enjoy the great local food.

Mad Radish CSA joined us earlier in the month, adding yet another fantastic NH grower to our roster. Raising their meats and microgreens on The 1780 Farm in Chesterfield, they are currently selling arugula and beet microgreens, as well as beef, pork, and lamb cuts. Check them out!

Product Selection
This is the time of year when the selection of fresh vegetables and fruits can start to feel a little slim, but fear not: we still have a lot of items to meet your needs.

Apples, beets, cabbage, celeriac, garlic, swiss chard, salad mix, kale, kohlrabi, leeks, parsnips, potatoes, rutabaga, winter squash, turnips, parsley, rosemary, and local mushrooms! We also have bagels, bread, granola, and trail mix. Cheese, pudding, yogurt, and eggs. Beef, pork, and lamb. And finally, maple syrup, frozen veggies, and lots of condiments.
