January 8th - Announcements
Happy 2015! We hope that the new year is off to a great start. A few announcements to begin the year for WFF:

- I (Sara) will be attending a Food Hub Management Course at UVM next week (January 12-16) so the amazing Helen, from Food Connects, will be taking over coordination for the week. Her number is (703) 835-7224 and she will be using the WFF email. I will be checking messages periodically but if urgent, send me a text. Please do your best to have all orders in on time to make Helen's job easier. Thanks!

- Save the Date(s) for the WFF Annual Meeting - February 11th or 12th - for lunch. I will confirm ASAP and let you know the details.

- Peeled Butternut Squash - is almost finished for the season. Please let me know if you would like to put in a request for the next three weeks (thru end of January) to ensure availability. Thanks!

Available This Week: parsnips, apples, potatoes, butternut squash, beets, carrots, cabbage, onions, rutabaga, celeriac, chard, collards, arugula, sweet potatoes, fresh herbs, trail mixes, bread, bagels, yogurt, pudding, cheese, granola, maple syrup, flour and local chicken. Salad greens should hopefully become available again in the next few weeks.

**Last call Frozen blueberries: We have the opportunity to get some 10# boxes of frozen blueberries from Autumnview Farm in Pittsfield, NH. They will be priced around $5.00/lb unless we can generate enough volume. Please let Sara know if you are interested. Thanks!

January Harvest of the Month is Parsnips. Get 'em while you can! Be sure to check out the website for recipes, activities and more. 2015 HoM calendars are still available so make sure you get yours today.

Please note that Four Star Farms only delivers on Wednesdays - so Friday orders in by Monday and Tuesday orders will be delivered Wednesday or Friday. Apologies for inconveniences as we do the best we can given the logistics!
