October 9: Buying Clubs are Back!
Now that the school year is back in full swing, the buying clubs that were piloted last year at two area schools are running again. This year, you can find clubs at Brattleboro Area Middle School, Academy Elementary, Guilford Central School and Putney Central School. Visit the Food Connects website for more information on these clubs and check out this article from the Brattleboro Reformer.

Not seeing your kid's school on the list or don't have a child in school? Consider forming your own in your community. Windham Farm and Food serves a few self organized buying clubs already, at Vernon Elementary School, Bellows Falls Neighborhood Market, and West Townshend Community Project.

Buying clubs are a great way to pool buying power as consumers and get affordable access to the wholesale goods that we offer!

Check out the new listings of grains from Four Star Farms in Northfield, MA, whole chickens from Westminster Organics, and lots and lots of veggie variety!

Feature Vendor
High Meadow Farm
HMF is Vermont's oldest certified organic farm. We currently have 12000 sq. ft of greenhouses and 65 acres of rolling hills. Our focus is growing potted herbs which we wholesale in Vermont, NH, MA, and CT to coops, garden centers and natural specialty stores like Whole Foods. We also offer organic tomatoes, lettuce and veggies, as well as quality perennials and gorgeous hanging baskets. You will also see us at the Brattleboro and Putney farmers markets and we have our own stand at the farm. We grow organic garlic and onions, winter squash and pumpkins, carrots and beets, raspberries and blackberries, and other nutritious veggies which we sell primarily at local coops and at the markets and from our stand. Looking foward to seeing and hearing from you! We would be happy to show you around.
