Vegan, delicious, coarsely pureed. Serve cold. Gazpacho is a tomato-based vegetable soup. It's an excellent meal for a hot day, but we've been enjoying it even on cold evenings lately - it's just too delicious to resist. We use both cooked and raw tomatoes, everything else is raw. Veggies are all homegrown or from our local farmer friends. Contains tomato, cucumber, onion, green pepper, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Keep refrigerated.

Our slicing cukes tend to be big around and shortish this year, but they still taste good. Great for salads, in gazpacho, simply sliced alone or in vinegar, or even placed as soothing relief over tired eyes.

Fresh Red Cayenne - hot
Jalapeno

Vendor: Whitehill Farm

Czech Black peppers! Stunning glossy black, beginning to ripen red! Delicious at any stage. About as hot as jalapeños ...great for stuffing or stir-fry. Even Czech BLACK peppers are brilliant red when they are truly ripe!

(Pictured) Matchbox Hot Peppers - hot, the name says it all! Pinky-finger sized, perfect for salsa! Matchbox is a striking red, and nice and hot ...better than a Jalapeño! This is the open pollinated version of Super Chili, a variety owned by Monsanto :-(. A favorite of ours for salsa and slipping into jars of dilly beans!
