Our hens are Fed Organic, soy free feed and pasture all summer. Once the snow sticks they return to their winter coop until spring returns. They are a happy bunch and we do our best to keep them that way year round.
.
We know the price of eggs is high, but we have to raise our prices here, our feed costs have gone up to $34/bag. Please help us to keep our hens, which are the only Organic, soy free, pasture raised eggs available here. We appreciate all the support!

Tabouli salad

.
Vendor: Rasmussen Farm
.
Made with our tomatoes and parsley; water, Organic bulgur WHEAT; olive oil, organic lemon juice; onions, scallions, and/or chives; garlic; black pepper, and Kosher or sea salt. Keep refrigerated.

Packaging options:
For our regular customers who would return jars, and who are aware that the tabouli needs to be refrigerated and is not shelf-stable, we'd be happy to pack tabouli in glass jars. Reuse is always a better option than recycling!

Our standard 12 oz package is a paperboard take-out soup container.

10 oz compostable fiber bowl: These bowls absorb some of the juices from the tabouli, leaving it a bit dry if not eaten promptly. We are open to suggestions about different sizes and types of packaging!

Vegan, delicious, coarsely pureed. Serve cold.
Gazpacho is a tomato-based vegetable soup, served cold. It's an excellent meal for a hot day, but we enjoy it even on cold evenings - it's just too delicious to resist.
We use both cooked and raw tomatoes, everything else is raw.
Veggies are all homegrown or from our local farmer friends. Contains tomato, cucumber, onion, green pepper, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Keep refrigerated.

A Mix of Cherry Tomatoes: Mix of Red , Pink, yellow, white. Naturally grown in our high tunnel.
All ripe and ready to eat.

Vendor: Rasmussen Farm

Cherry tomatoes of many colors: Red, orange, yellow, black, ripe green, and mixed color cherry tomatoes, varying sizes and shapes. We offer a mix of 21 different varieties of cherry tomatoes we are growing at Rasmussen Farm this year. Lovely and delicious!

Heirloom mix, ripeness varied to last, cracks & blemishes yes, but oh so flavorful! For eating fresh tomatoes, there is nothing more divine. Our tomatoes have not been babied in a greenhouse and have been watered only at the whim of the rain. This leads to cracks and other visual imperfections - but also to deep, full flavor. Once harvested, they are never stored in a cold room, so they maintain their natural texture. Not entirely vine-ripened, but completely pesticide-free.
We'll select a range from tomatoes best eaten the day you get them to some that should sit for several days. A gentle touch will let you know which ones are ready. A range of colors, flavors, sizes, & shapes, all with the kind of full-flavored heirloom tomato taste not found in store-bought tomatoes.

Paste tomatoes are meatier and often smaller than beefsteaks, great for salsa, sauces & salads. This mix may include larger tomatoes with more varied shapes than a standard plum tomato. Feel free to state any size preferences in the order note at checkout.
