Never sprayed. Apples from an ancient tree on our property. We love them for fresh eating, pies, applesauce, and in our raw cranberry relish. Not cosmetically perfect, but pretty good-looking for unsprayed apples.
Fedco says: "Tender crisp aromatic richly flavored juicy firm tart flesh. Outstanding eating and cooking. Rated very good to best by Beach in Apples of New York.... Thin tender skin, striped with yellow, red and orange."
