THIS WEEK ONLY - find Farmington's Saturday farmers' market between Java Joe's and the brick COUNTY courthouse on Main Street - across from, and within sight of, the usual location. The regular lot will be closed for repaving this Saturday.

Farmington Farmers' Market continues to run outdoor markets Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month of October. Farmington's indoor winter market and Western Maine Market's winter schedule will start the first weekend of November.

Aji Limon a.k.a. Hot Lemon Peruvian peppers! : Related to Habaneros! Brilliant yellow, with a unique "citrusy" flavor. Right up there in the hot department! Beautiful and dangerous!

Big Jim Chili peppers! Medium hot and great flavor!: Big Jim is one of our favorites ...for our home made breakfast sausage (we freeze the right amount for our recipe, neatly minced), soups, and stir fries. 6-8" long and great either green, red, or mixed.

(Pictured) Brilliant red, long, and heavy Sweet Italia Peppers! The quintessential long Italian pepper! 6-8" long and thick juicy flesh. One of our favorites for roasting as well as fresh eating.

A mix of cherry tomatoes: no spray, and nothing synthetic touches these tasty cherry tomatoes.
Red, Pink, Orange, and White. All fully ripe and ready to eat.

Heirloom quality slicing tomatoes: These hybrids like Martha Washington, Damsel, and Abigail are pink and very tasty like Brandywine, but have better disease resistance with less "cat-facing" (cracking and stem scarring) than the classic Brandywine. Our Striped German is a true heirloom - yellow with striking red streaking of the skin and interior.
