Sweet Peas
The picture does not
do justice, but the
sweet peas are
pumping out fragrant
blossoms that the
humming birds love.

It is pleasant to walk by
or walk down the row
of these colorful little
blooms, as the perfumed
smell instantly puts you
in a soft mellow mood.
Sunday
Sunday is the weekend but as I begin to put the newsletter together, it feels like the beginning of the work week.

The garden is in a mode of lower maintenance, which makes one think that there is not much to be done. That is a farmers pipe dream.
We are now canning, freezing and drying something daily. While it is a lot of work, we are truly grateful to be able to feed ourselves throughout the rest of the year.

Watermelon is the fruit of the week.
Blueberries are coming to an end. Wednesday will be or last harvest, and then we will remove the net and let the birds glean the rest.

We hope you have a good week.
Lunar Moth Caterpillar
We found this lunar moth caterpillar in our walnut trees.

This week we will be delivering to Thos. Moser's and have pick up on the farm Thursday morning.
