So Much to Choose From
The only difficulty of eating fresh vegetables this time of year, is choosing which ones. We have been enjoying roasted mixed vegetables; mixing in broccoli, cauliflower (the last one), red potatoes, and carrots.
This week we will be able to mix it up with turnips, green beans, and beets.

We enjoyed our first BLT sandwich this past week made with fresh tomatoes, and now we are looking forward to Italians made with all fresh vegetables.

Our cabbages are a great buy, as they are large and will feed a crowd. Think coleslaw, roasted cabbage, stuffed cabbage leaves....

Our flowers seem to be in a bit of a lull, so this week we will offer table top bouquets only. The pink phlox may come in to bloom this week, and the zinnia's are flowering but with shorter stems.

Enjoy your week, and eat well.
