May Asparagus
We are off to a slow start this season so our lettuce and spinach are a bit behind. Last week we began harvesting asparagus, and a small amount of spinach.

Potatoes, celery, parsley, sage and rosemary are in the ground.Transplanting will continue this week with tomatoes and crucifer plants. Our first planting of carrots is slow to germinate, we hope today's rain will help moisten the ground enough to get them sprouted.

The daffodils put on a nice show, and the late tulips are beginning to bloom, along with the flowering trees, and bushes. Our yellow magnolia is in full bloom sending out a pleasant wave of scent through the air.

Spring is pleasant, busy, and always enjoyable.Until next week...
