Summer Bounty
Raspberries, pearl onions, carrots are all on the site this week along with a nice selection of cut flowers.
Beet greens, spinach, kale, herbs, radishes and garlic scapes are still available.

The blueberries are starting to turn color, baby cucumbers are on the plants and the celery is close to harvest size.

The sweet onions are sizing up nicely and the first cherry tomato is turning color.

As for pests, we have seen a few aphids on plants but are hoping the ladybugs and other praying insects will take care of them. We saw our first japanese beetle yesterday, we could only hope he was alone. Then there is that pesky groundhog...still here.

Overall the farm looks beautiful, plants are healthy and about to explode with a nice variety of fruits and veggies.

We thank all of our customers for their support, we love the feedback on the newsletter and produce. We hope you are eating well this summer wherever you get your local food.
