Heat of the Season
We will be harvesting Masai french green beans, scallions, tomatoes, beautiful green peppers, celery, fresh onions, and we have another crop of Red Ace beet greens with red and green leaves. These are just a few of the produce crops available this week along with lots of sunflowers, snapdragons and zinnias.

We will be adding Tango Oak Leaf lettuce into the lettuce mix this week, it is crisp and a beautiful green color.

The newly seeded beds of carrots, beets, tatsoi, kale, and radishes have sprouted and we look forward to harvesting these as they mature. Another crop of French Breakfast radishes will soon be available.

This is the second year of issues with our kale crops, we had to strip all the leaves off due to an aphid infestation. The plants are producing leaves again and we will see if we have successfully eliminated the aphids.

Come see us on Thursday at the South Paris Farmers Market 2-6pm, 9 Market Square. Our coolers will be packed with lots of fresh produce. At the market you can find a great variety of products offered by our fellow vendors; honey, meat, eggs, pasta, pottery, yarn, wood and fabric products, baked goods, soap....

Enjoy the week and all the good local food available.
