Not New News, But News
The Rover radishes have been pulled, they look and taste great! This might have been our best crop of radishes this season, although the second crop of French Breakfast was successful just not true to shape.

Our tatsoi is growing up and will now have longer stronger stems that will be great with dips or that little bit of crunch needed in a stir-fry.

A second crop of Kalebration is harvestable with larger leaves, between the two crops we can fill more orders. We have other kale planted but still not at the picking stage.

If the weather continues to stay relatively the same as last week, we should have a lot more second plantings of crops to harvest. Spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, romaine lettuce, napa cabbage, green cabbage...these along with bok choy, kohlrabi and turnips.

We are still working on taming a section of the garden that has been claimed by weeds this season, it's getting smaller but not as fast as I would like. The demands of other things have hampered the progress, but on the other hand our cupboards are being restocked with this season's bounty.

The week of September 5th we will not be attending the South Paris Farmers Market, but will deliver or meet customers in Norway and South Paris depending on your location.

Enjoy these last days of August and eat well.
