And so the Market Season ends...
This is the last week of the South Paris Farmers Market and for our regular weekly orders.

When we dig potatoes we will offer them, carrots, beets and whatever else is still available. We want cooler temperatures for storing the potatoes and we expect that to be before the end of October.

We thought we would go longer into fall with sales but now that the tractor is back home, this farmer is going to get all those heavy equipment chores done before good working weather ends.

The porcupine discovered the spinach, I managed to prevent him from destroying half the bed, but now the decision has been made that someone has to leave the garden and it is not me.

This week we have two types of dried cayenne peppers available, along with Goldilocks wax beans. This is the last week for the five pound paste tomato offer.

We have about a bushel of tomatillos and a grocery bag full of green peppers. The peppers are small to medium from King of the North plants we pulled. We would like to move these as soon as possible to open up refrigerator space. If interested send us a message and we can make a deal. verrill@gmail.com

We would like to thank all of our supporters for a good year and special thanks goes out to our customers who order or shop with us weekly. Without you as a solid base farming and marketing would be much more unpredictable.

Keep eating local and may you enjoy these fall days.
